In Japan, we have a dish called "dengaku" which is often tofu or eggplant grilled with sweet miso on top. Use Kei's Kitchen Almond Miso to make beautiful dengaku easily, try eggplant dengaku, zucchini dengaku, konnyaku dengaku, tofu dengaku....

1.Tofu Dengaku

Drain and slice firm tofu into 1 cm thick slices. Skewer if desired. Grill both sides, then place Kei's Kitchen Almond Miso on one side and grill again for a few seconds. Serve with toasted flaked almonds on top if desired. 

2. Eggplant and Almond Miso Stir Fry

Chop eggplant into cubes and stir fry in a little oil. When almost done, add some Kei's Kitchen Almond Miso and stir in well. Serve hot.

3. Barbeque Dipping Sauce

Add a little oil and vinegar to Kei's Kitchen Almond Miso and serve in a little dish as a dipping sauce for your fish, meat and veges at the barbeque.

Kei's Kitchen Almond Miso keeps indefinitely in the fridge.
