Kei's Kitchen launches a new catering venture in April, 2011.
Our innovative canape, buffet and sit down dinner menus feature Japanese inspired and fusion delicacies as well as more traditional party dishes for your home or corporate event. We also offer Tempura, Nabemono (Hot Pot) and Barbeque Packages (Yakitori, Kushiyaki)--more cost effective options for home parties that you can cook yourself.

Sample Canape Menus: $25 per person
sesame tofu
smoked salmon and tobiko canape with wasabi mayonnnaise
wagyu beef tataki style on shiso leaf
tatsuta age-japanese style fried chicken
seasonal vegetable crudite with almond miso

tempura whiting with green tea salt
cucumber cups with salmon tartare
peking duck in mandarin pancakes
teriyaki wagyu beef and asparagus rolls
agedashi tofu with chives and ginger

sushi (nigiri and makimono)
herb-cured ocean trout with shiso dressing served on crisp pastry
freshly shucked oysters with ginger needles, shallots and ponzu dressing
tempura prawns with almond flakes and shiso salt/green tea salt
brioche with rare roast beef, cress and horseradish
thai style beef salad on betel leaf
$500 minimum for canape/buffet/sit down menus. Catering available in Sydney only, though happy to fly to New York, Paris, London, Dubai....
Tempura Cocktail Package: great for parties-assortment of freshly cooked tempura at your home or office venue, as an appetiser. (Minimum $500) Pair with sushi or sashimi to create a Japanese cocktail party theme.
Nabemono Package (ideal for winter): Shabu Shabu--2 large platters of beautifully arranged wagyu, shiitake and assorted mushrooms, tofu, arrowroot noodles, wakame, shallots with kombu stock and cooking instructions and two kinds of serving sauce: sesame sauce and chiriponzu. Also includes Hashiyasume (small salad dish) $240; for 6-10 people (also available: Sukiyaki and Yosenabe )
Barbeque Package: Yakitori--chicken and vegetables on skewers ready to cook on your barbeque or grill with Yakitori Sauce and Aemono (small salad dish) $240; for 6-10 people
